Manufacturing Process

Sweetgood Clothes are manufactured in the Los Angeles area by talented workers I actually know!
Before manufacturing, there is:
Design, Pattern-Making, Sample-Making and Grading (where you shrink and enlarge the pattern for all the different sizes).
Then you are ready for...

Cutting

I deliver all the fabric to the cutting house where it is rolled out in layers so it can be cut by the big fabric cutting machine.

Garment Cutter Working

Sewing

The cut pieces get wrapped up by size and are delivered to the sewing contractor, where the pieces are sewn together into white clothes.

Ready for Dye

The sewn pieces are packed in plastic bags and I take them to the dye house.

Dyeing

At the dye house, the pieces get dyed to my chosen colors in the dye machines (they look like giant washing machines).

Finishing

A couple days later, I get the call that my pieces are ready! I pick them up and bring them back to the sewing contractor where they will be steamed and the buttons will be sewn on.
